What are you waiting for?

To all my friends...this is entirely in refference to CHristianity and the twists and turns it has taken over the years. My views and beliefs are hybrid forms of Christ-like viewings of the world (in the compassionate forms of the "red text") as well as the ritual and focus of witchcraft (eclectic-white magick) and Alchemy (in principle). Now that this is out of the way, please do read further... Why is it that when people refer to their church life or belief they automaticly say, "Yes. I am religious" or "My religion is_____"? I know that people understand religion as going to church and praying and all, but....there is something much deeper below the exterior here! We must be careful to use the word "religion" so much in our daily speak. You see, when Jesus first started his ministry, he never once reffered to any one denomination. Jesus was never quoted as saying, "We must all enter the church of the Nazerine, Assemblies of God, First Baptist, Catholocism, Mormon, or any other denomination. Simply put he told us to enter the Church of God or Christ (depending on the translation). Quite a few years back I pondered this in prayer and could not believe that I had never seen that before. Although there is a denomination called "Church of Christ", God was not even talking about that denomination, because he told us that we are the temple and that means that church can spontaneouly happen anywhere with no need of a building if needs be. Now, I am in no way saying that chosing one church over another is wrong at all. All I am saying is religion is something totally seperate from Christianity. Man created religion because they were uncomfortable with a certain part of the bible that didn't suit their needs or liking. I truly believe with all my heart that God was hurt by all this seperation amongs brothers and sisters in the Lord. All we had to do was simply follow his teachings that were written in the Bible, take communion with one another, fellowship with eachother and encourage others to stay the course! But...Guess what? You know who (man) just had to mess with the church. One would split because they were uncomfortable with one verse in the bible that a pastor read from scripture. "He shouldn't be teaching on the Song of Solomon! It isn't appropriate!" Some may say because of their personal guilt they have for endulging in unhealthy physical relations. Do they not realize though what the message is really about there? People can become so blind to the lord that they even start to question the innocent and very compassionate parts of the Bible. I say that it is time for us as a people to stop trying to make God fit into "our mold" and try for once to fit into his mold!!! Adonai is perfect in all ways so let us bend and take shape to his will for us! Let us be broken of our idle and unproductive ruts and change our hearts so we may strive to be more like Jesus in body, mind and spirit. He was the prime example of the model-Spirit form we should want to strive to be. p.s. Going to one denomination over another is not the problem, the problem lies within our observance of his Holy scriptures. I have personally known of Catholics that are "Born again Christians" Just because they were raised that way didn't make them incapable of expanding their mind to adapt to a mass attainment of knowledge which could convert to wisdom. I have known of Fundamentalist-Community Bible church goers that were tought to hate drums (or any song but hymns played with an organ) who could sing and clap to a Baptist church's worship service; even some at an Assembly of God service. Let us not be blinded by man-made rules and follow the real leader of compassion-JESUS CHRIST. As long as we test a pastor's messages with what the bible says, then we pray for discernment, the Holy Spirit will open our eyes to the truth and meaning behind each passage. We must first seek a personal relationship with Christ and then we may understand his word more deeply! think about this further and let it soak in! I am not telling you I am The gateway to heaven if this is your path, but I am trying to open more minds within the realm of Christian belief. I am constantly compiling knowledge and applying it to everyday life. For me the following statement is true: "Every day of my human existance which is spent in the persuit of knowledge is another reason to live yet another day." -Brian Matthew Sousa- "For such attainment stretches my will to perceive my reality and accept the untangible feats at hand as my very own accomplishment." -Brian Matthew Sousa- Be blessed my friends :)
