The nights held an enchanting spell on us. Cradling us in its arms. From under the stars and the moon full of blue. Between the slightest breeze and the warmth of the sheets our heart grew and entwined. Looking back as if I were opening up a sliver box and seeing a trinket so frail... There... then.... now... you always been. By candle light your soft warm embrace protecting me from harm, My soul slipped heavily into your threads as you sewed the fabric of our lives.
The golden path isn't worth walking on, Unless you melt the bricks and lay them down your self.
Nothing is free in a world that cost. To grow and to gain, you must feel the pain that life it self holds.
If you fall, you were ment to learn an important lesson. Only then... can you pick your self up and step again.
You walked into your garden to see a little maple tree.
You might not have planted me with your strong oak trees.
But you kept me under your wind as your own.
You gave me sun light so I could grow tall and red.
You weeded me from right and wrong.
You shocked me with lighting to keep me from doing harm.
You gave me the clouds when I needed to soar.
You held my branches when my leaves fell to the ground.
You helped rake them up to prove my pain would not last long.
Through all these seasons you gave this tree what it needed most.
A little tinder, loving, care.
Now that my roots are strong and my seeds are breaking ground.
