Many days have passed, where I have walked this road of pain.
Many nights i've witnessed, along this rocky path, frought with my peril.
Then came a moment, so precious so pure, when I noticed you from afar.
My heart did flutter, I shivered and quivered, when you walked into my life.
Now times have changed, silence no more, I'm pleased to know you so.
Thank you so kindly, dear from the heavens, I'll never be lost again.
It started off, so simple so small, like the life of a
tree in early spring. Slowly surely as my heart grows
fonder, the buds of life begin to blossom.
She sits on a knoll, her gaze out upon a blue lake, a
simple view yet so grand. It warms her soul, touches her
face, drenches her in its awe.
I am consumed, yet on edge with uncertaintity, to even
draw myself close, for I so fear to cause some despair, I
hope she will have me, to simply complete me, this is
something i must bear
I take those first steps, with caution, no haste. Softly
approach her small space, and sit down beside her. I turn
my head to look at the view that she sees
I struggle within me, to touch her to hold her, yet
restraint keeps me at bay, like a delicate flower, I fear
to push it away
She turns her head, smiles at me, a warmth washed over me,
drenching me to my very bone, I let go of my concern, push
myself closer, allowing whatever is to come
She reaches out and touches, my butterflies flutter, I
tremble no longer in fear, the want and feelings of need
and desire, swallows me totally whole
