So Here is the deal. When a tattoo artist quotes you a price on a tattoo thats the price! Do people realize that this is how a tattoo artist makes a living??? Why would you shop for tattoos by price? Look at the artists portfolio and you will see what it is you are paying for(if they dont have a portfolio then you might want to ask yourself why they wouldnt want to show you pictures of their work). I don't go to your Burger King and say $1 for small fries, How about I give you 50 cents and you dont put salt on them!!! I will admit there are some out there that will rip you off . Here are some facts for you all. The average price of a tattoo is around $100. so if you think you want a tattoo and all you have $25, then either save your money or go to that "friend" who works out of his basement or kitchen or what ever. You will get your $25 worth!!! Trust me I see alot of those everyday.But dont come to my shop afterwards and say "well i only paid $_ for this and then show me a shitty tattoo! Cause I may just tell you the truth about how crappy it is. I am by no means saying I am the best in this business but I sure the hell wont haggle over prices with someone. If you think about it like this, if you smoke, thats at least $5 aday you lose, you have nothing to show for it(except future lung cancer)and its gone. A tattoo is going to be there FOREVER !!! So to invest $100 into a tattoo is not that much. AND PEOPLE PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU PUT A BUNCH OF STUPID THINGS ALL OVER YOUR BODY. ignorance is more expensive that education! It is never a good idea to put someone elses name on your body(your kids names or family member that has passed away fine) Girlfrineds/boyfriends, husbands, wives. Its stupid cause on average 80% of those will have to be covered with something else. I know " you will love them forever". yeah I hear that all the time, until it comes time to cover it up! Listen to your artists, Chances are they may just know what they are talking about. And for all you one tattoo havin experts"KEEP YOUR MOUTHS SHUT" Watching a few episodes of Miami ink or inked doesnt make you experts!!!
