"Do you require a body guard?" "Yeah.." (with a smirk) "What do you like to eat?" "French toast, bananas, and potatoes." (Okay, but not all at once) Okay, one more question.... "Who do you love?" ...."Christian, Patrick, Rosa, and you, and me, and Lillian...and grandma and grandpa!!"

Good morning...last night when I was laying down with my girls, I had my cellphone with me. When I looked at the time, it lit up and my 2yr old says (with a lisp), "I wanna a cellphone, wanna cellphone"...so I asked her, "who would you call?"...she replied, "another cellphone."...

My 2yr old had ALREADY eaten. She was still sitting at the table when she saw me come along with a giant burrito with melted cheese, lettuce, tomatoe and hot sauce over it. (It was good by the way)...I also had a can of soda in my left hand. As I sat down, she said, "Ooooooo yummy"...well, I thought she was talking about my burrito. Not the case. She wanted my soda it turned out when she turned her nose up at the bite I was offering to her. So she says, "no, soda"..."Not! It's for mommy. It's mine." I said. So with a stone-faced look and big eyes with slightly pursed lips, she said, "Why not?"...that's when I started laughing at her and she never turned her head or blinked on the second and third, "Why Not?"..by then I had nearly finished my soda so I decided to give her that last few sips. Man, kids never quit do they?!! She never blinked during the "staredown" for my soda.

Well, I don't make it a habit but sometimes when I put my girls to bed, I lay down with them so they can fall asleep faster. There have been many times that my daughter has "asked me to leave"...I guess she is getting a little personality? Gee I thought I was special;) My 4yr old being autistic and can not speak yet, she can be hyper and start yelling. Almost nightly, just to calm down. I know they love me but sometimes these "changes" are called "growing up"..

Her latest thing is putting her right thumb up like she's the "Fonz"...she does it everytime I give her something to eat or just wants to see me smile"

A couple days back, I was in the bathroom and she walks in. She's babbling away, and most of the time I can understand her. This time I heard, "blbeusld, blub, bluh, asdkwdks--just plain mumbling"...so I asked her, "What are you talking about?" "Boys" she answered. I thought she said the word, "Butt!" in there, so I asked her again, "what are you talking about?"..she replied, "Boys have big butts!!"
