Due to Americas present predominant position in the world I feel that its electoral system and constitution needs some updating /tweaking. So I propose the following updates.
Before Americans are allowed to vote they should be given a short combined IQ/Current world events test, as why should morons who know nothing about the world be electing a president who is presiding over an expansionist regime. Votes would be awarded according to scores 90-100% correct receiving 5 votes down to 50-60% correct receiving 1 vote.
People failing to score 50% would still get to vote but for a newly created King and Queen position , ideal candidates for this role would be Dogg the bounty hunter and his charming wife. As this position would be purely ceremonial they would have lots of free time to attend movie premiers, start baseball games etc , and leave the President free to create some coherent foreign policy for a change.
Any thoughts on improving my concept will be warmly welcomed
