So, as we speak, Dan (my brother) is on his way to Germany, and from there to Iraq. I am sad, but I know this is what he has wanted to do sense he started thinking about the army. well lets see last time i wrote a blog i asked forprayers for my momma. we still need them and i greatly appriciate those of you who are. bless you. ok mom is out of the hospital, the doc sent her home. he said she had to wait 4~6 weeks for her surgery. the antibitics have to run thier course and they have to make sure the infection is gone before they do surgry. wow!!! we found out what exactly the surgery entails. they're going to cut my mommy in half, length wise. to remove her colon. woa!!! major surgery. needless to say mom is terrified as are the rest of us. anyways, she has a doc apt. 2day to get her white blood cell count checked. if everything is on the up and up she'll have the surgery in 3 weeks or so. my sister finally came home thursday by the way. which is fantastic! thats ALOT of stress off mom. and she doesn't have to wonder what niks is doin or where shes at. anyways, plwase continue to pray for my momma and family.... thanyou and many many many blessing

A listener. An un-biased opinion. Although I am technically a licensed psychiatrist, I do my job to help people and hopefully, they leave my office feeling different than when they walked in. Just wanted to throw this out there. I participate in the WALK for HUNGER every year to raise money for families in need of food in my state. Its a 20 mile walk in one day. the longest walk in our state i am told. well anyways i am trying to become a heart and sole walker this year which means that i wanna raise 500 dollars. the walk is in may and i hope that everyone who cares will donate multiple times. i'm not talkin a million dollars here. 3 bucks one week 2 bucks another week. if thats all you can do it still is appreciated more than you know. to find out more info and to know where the money goes go to www.projectbread.org the cool thing is that you can donate online and it is of course tax deductible. they give you a page to print out to save for you taxes and everything. Hi everyone! I'm Desiree, 28 years old, graduated in New York University, and happily married to a man who I will be glad to make a lot of babies with! (love you honey) I used to be in marketing back in 2004, for 3 years, but it didn't really float my boat. Perhaps I was in the wrong company? Ah well, I now work as a fashion designer (yes a big leap in industry) and consultant for GoodOrient, which creates in house designed asian apparels that fuses eastern and western fashion together, and fusing modern into traditionals. A lot of the cheongsams (chinese long dresses) are designed by me. I pick the fabrics, I design the cuttings, I put in the finishing touch, and I try them on after they're done. That's basically my job, and I love it! After work, I love reading the latest gossip magazines and blogs, catch some streaming movies, watch youtube, and occasionally indulge myself and some friends inside TGIFridays' cakes or icecream.
