I love my job. It's almost exactly what I want to be doing with my life. The only problem is that the supervisors are making things so awful for all of us that I am just about ready to quit. And I'm not the only one feeling this way. It's a new program, I'll admit it. But our supervisor doesn't do her fucking job. She's supposed to have everything ready for us by the time we get in. Instead, we're constantly having to call to find out what's going on. I can't go into everything that is wrong with it; it would take me all day to do that. This is all too fucking ironic! Less than a month ago, i went, in person, to put in an application to work for Amazon thru Integrity. Normally any place you go and put apply for if you can't do it at that time, due to your own personal schedule, they "hold" your application for 6 months. I have a friend who will die this year... so please read on... My friend (an ex actually who has raised my son for 4 years) was diagnosed with a brain tumour in Nov 2007. It has got a LOT worse and he can barely do anything. He will start radiotherapy this month. On average people with these tumours have 17 weeks to live, double that possibly with radiotherapy but he WILL die. NONE of his friends have bothered going round to see him etc using silly excuses like hes changed (wouldnt you change with a tennis ball sized mass in your head?) After reading some of the greatest literature ever written tonight i can't help but feel a little philosophical. I realized today as i drove to work that my life has become one big party. I've got a great job, make good money, have AWSOME friends and a kick ass girlfriend and party all the time with out it affecting either my professional or personal life.(no drugs, i only drink beer n Jager) I spend my time doing the things that I love to do and have a great time at it. As I wander the many pages on pages of LC, every so often I see something that never ceases to amaze me.
