There are times in my life
when all I need is security.
But too often there's no one to look to
to gather the peace of mind I seek
Like a pillar of stone in a mound of sand
when I need help the most
is when I ask for it the least
trying to act brave
when inside I am frightened
and I just want to follow
instead of lead
I can't be strong all the time yet
that's what you seem to want.
And when YOUR strength is at it's weakest point
and it seems like you're all alone
look to me, I'll be there
I'll be your strength.
But when I'm about to break
form the weight of your burdens
will you share the load and walk by my side?
Will you be my strength?
