| I was recently having coffee with my Mum in a coffeeshop in town when we noticed my Dad's fiance walk in hand-in-hand with a man that DEFINATELY wasn't my father. When she saw us, they promptly turned around and walked straight out. Now, I realise this is a sticky situation and my Mum is one of Dad's best friends so she has agreed not to mention what we saw to my Dad just yet, the only problem is I know my Dad would leave this woman no questions asked if I told him because he trusts me so deeply that he wouln't even stop to question if it weren't true and I don't think I can deal with that power. So, do I leave it go and quietly take her aside to ask her what her side of the story is or do I call my Dad and confess all knowing it will be the end of his first serious relationship in over 22 years? |
