Searching
On Wednesday May 20th I have set up a Motorcycle ride for anyone who would like to join. This ride is for collecting donations for a 14yr old girl named Amanda. She has some medical and financial issues and she needs all the help she can get. I personally have collected $100. already from a few friends and family that wont be able to attend the ride. The ride has a lot in store with a lot of scenic routes and a few great points of interest. We have as of right now 25-30 bikes who will attend. There will be 3 Major stops 2 being for refreshments and one for lunch. We will meet at the Lawrence Center in Anamosa at 8am sharp and will return around 5pm or sooner. The ride will be great and relaxing, all of the ride will be on secondary roads and off the beatin path with less traffic to worry about. Finally decided, we shall be moving to NJ. Either back to Spotswood/Helmetta or North Brunswick. So I guess I'll be looking to find "friends" in that area whom my wife & I can "connect" with. We put our house up for sale a coupleof weeks ago and we are hoping to move sometime in September. Is that a realistic timeframe in this market? Boy I hope so. Kinda tired of this area. Would like to get back closer to my kids in Plainsboro & closer to friends/family in Brooklyn. Would luv to move to Brooklyn, but I definitely can't afford a home in the areas I want such as Dyker Heights, Bensonhurst, Bay Ridge or Boro Park. Can't believe 30 yrs ago the house I lived in went for $35K & now it's around $850K. Wish I would stuck around and bought there all those yrs ago.

Well, Im not long into cherry tap, and after the initial flood of randoms adding me for no other reason than to increase their cherry level, things have started to settle down a bit. Sea Survival
So we’re in the crash boat heading into the Strait of Georgia out of Comox on Vancouver Island. It’s July so the weather is good at least and the sea is reasonable with five foot swells but it’s still quite bumpy because we’re making at least twenty knots. In fact one or two of the lads are feeling decidedly unwell and looking a strange shade of green. It’s called a crash boat because it is designed to respond to aircraft that have to ditch or crash into the sea so it’s fast and has a water-cannon to put out fires, and it can hold a crew of four plus at least 20 survivors. But today it’s not responding to a crash. It’s transporting 15 of us out into the strait for some sea survival training. We’ve already spent most of the week in the classroom attending lectures and watching training videos (mostly from the Royal Navy) and so it’s a welcome break from the boredom of the classroom. Setting course for Australia, a long row ahead, the spinach is packed Our boat is a sturdy Old Town canoe, made by indians in the woods of Maine. We paddle as hard, as hard as we can, till the wind and the waves make it too hard to go. We sell the old trusty, 18' cargo canoe, and buy us a sloop, like the old John B. A well traveled ship, our new sloop named Betty, I wanted to name it Olive, but feared confusion with the oil producing tree. We sailed all night, in our mighty new sloop, Betty her name, after old Betty Boop. Her hold filled with spinach for me, milk for swee'pee, and hamburgers for Wimpy. It was late Saturday evening and the wife was still at work. All day long thoughts of her pretty eyes and beautiful face were running through my mind. Well this is the first time blogging after my surgery....just wanted to let all my friends know i am on the mend and the surgery was a big success. There is an unwritten rule regarding visible tattoos while on duty as a security officer. Granted I understand that companies want security officers to appear respectable and professional. But..... If a security company forces security officers to cover up tattoos that are neither slanderous nor obscene, is the company breaking state and federal laws pertaining to discrimination? Is the company breaking their own policies on ethics, equal opportunities, and diversity policy? In addition is it ethical to force security officers to wear long sleeves during the summer in a factory setting?
