I am having a friend type this because for the last six days I have been blind. I have to fight ALL THE TIME to get my medications due to a shitty insurance. I am out of my most important one for pain right now and they are taking forever to send them. I ended up going through a vicious withdrawl and then I will go through the same thing all over again if they ever show up. It is a very shitty place to be. I have days where I am so exausted that I can't even get out of bed and other where moving is only able to be accomplished with two forearm crutches or a wheelchair. I also have soething called Optic Neurosis which makes my eyes blurry and to go in and out. They are also VERY sensitive to light so I wear sunglasses every where and keep my home dark. I feel like my kids are in a cage just because of me. One day my eyes will go out like this and they will never come back. Campin' Trip!

Just got home from camping this weekend. It was a good time, but also a bad time if that makes sense? I felt sick ALL weekend. So sore, weak, and tired I'd have to go lay down. Well some of you already know that myself, my sister and my brother have started a non-profit organization. Well back in December we were told about a camp called Camp Janus that works with burn survivors. So we asked for an application to volunteer. We all filled one and and sent them in and i glad to say that we were chosen to go and help out with this camp. We have had an awesome time every time we go to the hospital to give out stuuffed animals and other things to these kids. So we are relly looking forward to going to this camp this weekend. While we are there we have been that there will be a TV network that maybe coming to do a story on the camp. Also there is a game show called YUCK that will be there doing games with the kids so there is a good possibility that we will be on TV. Camp Janus Camp For Burn Survivors
Ok so as some of you know I volunteered to attend a camp as a counselor for burn survivors at a camp called Camp Janus on May 29th through June 1st 2008. While there I had an awesome time running and playing with the kids and doing the many different activities with them. All of us there was there as mentors and friends to these kids and was supposed to be teaching them the different things we learned as children and adults but it was the kids that did the teaching to us. They taught that no matter what obsticles life puts in front of you all you have to do is set your mind to it and you can overcome anything. Ok so I got some not ok news from my DR today, and I just had the pap a week ago GRRRR. As some of you know in August I had a PAP and then had to have a biopsy, my DR back in San Diego had found that I had Cancerous and precancerous cells but said DONT WORRY it doesnt grow fast you should be fine. The battle with cancer is whooping my ass. I had the surgery and got rid of the cervical cancer and now can't have anymore kids. Now I find out I may have breast cancer. We just got over the last scare and things were just starting to get back to normal. I just found out that I have liver cancer. I am scared to death and I do not know what to do. The doctor said that I have 3 months to live. He said there are some alternatives to do, some of which are.. going thru Chemotherapy, giving me an injection of alchohol in the tumor, and there is a chance I could get a transplant, but it is very risky. He said it could be awhile to wait for a liver as well, a healthy one. Idk what to do im scared, and clueless. What should I do ? A: Just let life take its course, and whatever happens, happens. I've been at the breast care center for an hour now... still waiting for the radiation oncologist. Yes, I need radiation treatments. This will involve 5 days a week, for idk how many weeks - they say it's usually 5 or 6. More details after I actually talk to the guy. I'm sitting in this stupid hospital gown waiting... waiting... waiting... --------------- Update: 6 weeks of radiation monday through friday then tamoxifen or equivalent to produce early menopause - just in time for my 36th birthday. I finally heard back from my surgical oncologist, who apologized and hadn't realized nobody had called me yet about my pathology results. Soooooo.... good news and bad news. The good news - my lymph node came back negative, meaning the cancer did not spread. The bad news - there was apparently a bit of tumor very close to where they were removing tissue during the mastectomy. The radiation oncologist will determine whether they feel I need radiation or not. He says it

Sorry it's been so long since i've checked in. I've gone through alot these past few months. I went through 8 days of chemo, 29 external radiation treatments (thw side effects of this were much worse than the chemo), as well as 3 internal radiations that required surgery and a 2 day hospital stay. I have to say all the prayers have blessed me and as of Monday when they did surgery the doctor saw no visible signs of cancer, meaning the tumor was no longer there. He did the internal radiation to try to kill off any cells he wasn't seeing. I don't have to go back to the dr til April and we are quite confident I am in remission. So I thought I would go ahead and type for a bit tonight, I havent typed a blog in quite awhile & I do rather enjoy doing it from time to time.... well most of you who have read or commented on my 1st mum know that I had a migraine for 5 days in a row that finally ended today...Thank you Lord....I went to my Dr. and had him give me a shot so that hopefully it won't come back for quite awhile, also got some pain meds and refills on my prescriptions....so my bum hurts since thats where the shot went & my neck feels weird since I went to the chiropractor & he made it crack so many times I thought my neck was going to crack right off, but boy does it feel so much better, I'm thinking about buying one of those chiropractic pillows, my only problem is that my neck issues come from me laying on the couch or from accidently falling asleep on the couch....Guess I need a full time man living with me to help me break that habit...LOL... OK, I wanted to give more of a background on my father from my last entry. More or less, my father was abusive to my mother, myself, and my sister when we were little. He would lock us in our rooms while he went to the race tracks, or while he was just in the living room wathcing TV so he didn't have to put up with us. My parents divorced when I was around 2, my father has never really been there at all for me or my sister.
