Becoming A Grandparent
Passed away shortly after his birth. Our son and Daughter in law laid our grandchild to rest the week before Thanksgiving. they named him after my hubby. there will be more children and we will be waiting on them to arrive so we can spoil them rotten then send home to their parents. Am so excited about becoming a grandmom in April.. I have been knitting like crazy. Looking at baby clothes, diaper bags, strollers, and all that for a baby.. I found a cute pair of newborn tennis shoes, thankfully the coloring was neutral so they can be worn by either a girl or boy. :) Saw the ultrasound, but couldn't tell if we will be blessed with a girl or boy. Halloween Party
My husband (J) and I went to an awesome Halloween party last weekend. My Grandfather
I 1st met my grandpa when i was in 2nd grade at least when i could 1st recall meeting him. He was a hard core drinker. Also had a world of knowledge to pass on to me. I've recently had the pleasure of interacting with a very decent guy who also happens to be a Bouncer. A friend of mine who has had some trouble navigating fubar and understanding some of it's requirements spoke to me this morning. She raved about a very nice man, Sgt. Tex, who went out of his way to answer her questions and make her feel welcome here. He didn't have to go out of his way. He could have answered whatever question she had and moved on, but he took the time to recognize that she is a person and made her feel special because he truly made her his only priority at that point in time. Today would have been Kyle's 21st birthday. He would still be in Iraq unfortunatly but celebrating none the less. How Important Is A Profile?
How important is your profile on here? I'd like to think it was very important as its an insight into the person your asking to be your friend.... However, I have also observed that alot of people do not read my profile let alone your name and status, mine clearly states that I am no longer joining fu trains, yet today I have yet again denyed someone due to a train. I just got back from a whirlwind trip to NYC with a good friend of mine. It was the first time I'd been there, and it's one of the few cities I've never visited so it was about damn time. So how do you achieve that metallic look in your Transformers costume? You will need to start with some sturdy cardboard boxes, cut them up and glue them together. Make sure you can fit inside of each of the box parts. Once you are done decorating the boxes, have a friend glue the last few pieces together while you are wearing the costume. To add some realism get some shiny metallic paint and spray paint the boxes using your favorite Transformers colors.
