On the 31st of March sometime between midnight and 2AM my grandmother (forever known to you as my Gaw Gaw) passed away. My mother finally made it into town on Friday and we met at my Gaw Gaw's house only to find other distant family members had made their way through to pick out what they wanted. I wont go into the nightmare this has been. On Friday my mother picked up my Gaw Gaw's ashes and today we released her into the Gulf of Mexico... it's as close to the ocean as I can get here in Houston, Texas. Two nights ago I got sideswiped and dragged by a car. It was a complete and total accident (I don't want to go into the details just yet). Anyhow... I have huge bruises on me, my whole body's sore, and the worst of it: I have cuts and road rash on my feet. The combination of those two is the most painful and worst feeling I have ever felt. I was screaming and crying for God knows how long. It felt like someone lit my feet on fire and I couldn't put it out (I was wearing flip-flops btw when it happened). I can't walk well now because of it. Ocnce many years ago I found this place fubar. My life was a disaster and I felt completely alone and devastated by life. I spent all my time here because I had nothing else. I wasn't making friends at first but then a few came along and a few more. I ended up making friends I still talk to today even though they don't come on here. These people helped me stay sane. Showed me all kinds of kindness and support. One friend helped me relocate to their area and get a job that put my life back together. This was the help that led to me putting my whole life back together and getting to where I am now. Self employed, having a house in a quiet little town with my dog and cat. This is huge to me. Well after being in the hospital for the past couple of months for a simple urinary tract infection and emphysema my only surviving maternal grandmother passed away today. She was about 85 years old. Her, my aunt and my grandfather were the only relatives that were living nearby. They all immigrated here from Lebanon back in the early 70's. My grandparents even though they were in their 50's an 60's at the time of their arrvival were both hard working. My grandma worked up until about 10yrs ago when she finally retired. My paternal grandparents lived in Uniontown , Pa so it was very rare I ever got to see them at all. I will miss them all now. May she rest in peace. Pie Yes I stole this. Texas rapper Pimp C was found dead in a hotel room this morning. Along with Bun B, the 33-year-old rapper made up the legendary Southern duo UGK. According to TMZ, L.A. County Fire department responded to a 911 call at the swanky Mondrian Hotel, located in Hollywood's Sunset Strip. Respondents found Pimp C, born Chad Butler, lying in bed in his sixth floor room, dead. UGK achieved national fame when the duo appeared on the Jay-Z track "Big Pimpin'" in 2000, and more recently with their hit "International Player's Anthem (I Choose You)" featuring OutKast from the group's latest album, Underground Kingz, on Jive Records.
