I havent blogged for a long time been so up to my ears in the day to day shit that has consumed my life here as "manager" of this establishment i call home. I love this place...being by the salt water...the people...tenants and guests and the neighborhood and ambience of this navy town. What i dont love is my tyrannical, crazy, cokehead boss. This past week was telling for me. I woke up Monday not wanting to go to work...and I didnt. I called in sick. For the past year I've worked 60 hrs a week and been only paid for 40. I get a free room at the inn to share with my 17 year old son and cat. No privacy. Then I spend countless hours on my only day off...Sunday..showing this man's empty and available apartment houses. All for $10/hr...net $321.47 a week. I am verbally abused on a regular basis..(You fucking piece of shit this, fucking bitch that), accused of stealing his money/property or whatever it is that week he feels he can threaten me with. I could go on and on the

It was strange at the convention...I was there and my other half who calls herself Thagatanegrra...Me...I'm Gata..I am a BLACK cat, however, I just dont use that name...So I was getting alot of, "So you let her use your name?" I was deeply saddened yesterday to hear of the passing of one of my favorite celebrity s Anna Nicole Smith. This morning finds me outraged to hear that her sister, Donna Hogan, came on television last night an speculated that it was due to drugs. I don't care if it is true! How are you going to put your sister's personal business on blast like that and she's barely cold! Leave that for the tabloids. A few immoral reasons come to mind that I don't care to mention. It's outrageous, and if it's any indication of how those who are supposed to have been closest to her have treated her I can see why she might have felt hopeless, if in fact she did. My thoughts and prayers go out to that poor child, Dannielynn Hope Marshall, who has lost her mother. Hopefully, the vultures will leave enough that she may at least be financially secure. R.I.P. Its been almost 7 years aince I visited the place that was once home to me for 20 years of my life. It's been that long since I have seen my bestfriend who just happens to be a guy. He has been the only one that I have kept regular contact with. He is the only one that knows everythign there is to know about me too so it will be really good to see him . On The Prowl...
When my girlfriend and I met, we were swingers. In fact, we met at a swing party. After a whirlwind romance, we decided that we would have a monogamous relationship. It lasted two years. and recently, my sweet love expressed an interest in opening our relationship back up to make things a little spicier. We have decided to play together with other couples, and twice a month to play by ourselves with other singles. We went to a swing club together last weekend for the first time in 2 years. It was a lot of fun. The place we go to is run out of a private house. The husband used to do special effects work for the movies, so their entire, huge backyard is decked out with cool props, lot's of pirate/ship themed stuff (treasure, diving gear, etc.), and tropical island themed stuff (pathways lined with tiki torches). On The Verge Of Extinction.....
Last night was "Guys Night Out". Like every other guys night out we were in rare form. We chose to go to one of our favorite Wednesday Night "Watering Holes". As the night progressed, we decided to go to the dance side of the club. When we walked into the room a friend of mine saw his CURRENT girlfriend with her ex dude. Of course. it got a little chaotic. After a lot of screaming and yelling we finally got him out of the bar. We all went out to eat afterwards to try and calm him down. He then proceeded to tell us about how she said that her ex treated her like shit and how he use to hit on her. This baffled me. Why would a woman want to be with a guy who treats her like shit instead of a guy who treats her the way she wants to be treated? Then, I got to thinking some more. I've been through a similar situation and it doesn't make any since. I always hear women ask why aren't there any good men left. The road is like a dream , loveing you and hating you at every turn..when shes in a loving mood its like you finally found where you belong..for me its the only place I feel one hundred percent myself. On The Road
Well just made my first trip thru Donner Pass. Actually had to wait over 12 hours before I was able to go thru. There was a big storm that dropped around 6 to 12 inches of snow on the area above 4500 feet. I drove thru and was juat amazed how beautiful it is up there. The drive down the other side was fun. Going about 55 to 60 mph with a full jake brake on and still having to hit the brakes to keep my speed down. Can't wait for my next time thru, maybe I can get some pix with my phone to share. Well spending the night in Ripon California, then going to Rancho Cucamonga tomorrow. Trying to get a load to run thru Pheonix to see my grandma, who just had a heart attack a couple of nights ago. Hello everyone! Im taking a trip to TX to see my son & his sweet family. We didnt get to see them for Christmas. Two of the grand daughters birthdays are coming up soon, a perfect excuse to visit! On The Road Again...
In the beautiful state of Georgia visiting some friends. I'm sorry for updating this as often as I would like, but it's hard to find wireless service. Since our blissful stay on the Gulf we headed in state for a a few nights, and stumbled upon heaven on earth... High Springs FL. If you have never been there I highly suggest it. It is absolutely breath taking. We stayed at this campground called Blue Springs. The water was crystal clear, and where the springs came up from the caves the water was this exquisite Sapphire blue. We also stopped at this lovely diner called Floyd's. Best food I've ever eaten. Oh! we also tubed down the Ichtucknee and a blue heron flew in between me and my road trip buddy. Maybe 3 feet away. My tolerance for certain things seems to be non-existent as of late. So, what’s my gripe today? Profiles. So, hard at work this morning as usual. I seem to have noticed a cry for “read my profile, read my profile” from many people on the sight, yet when I get there, I find a page filled full of pre-done surveys or horoscopes or a ghastly link to a myspace page. I have a question for anyone who wants to answer. I am a heterosexual man, who is faithful in relationships. I go to work daily and do my best in all things. I am a "nice guy" for the most part. I do have a low tolerance for bull, as I have been through a lot in the past few years, but I do believe in treating a woman with respect. I have seen the "down low" lifestyle first hand, as I am a police officer and I have worked in a jail. I would never participate in anything like that myself, but I have seen it and know that is exist. What troubles me is that I see droves of beautiful women pouring into the jail to see men. Boy what a long week this has been!! I can say that I did make it threw the week all together! There was good times, bad times, tears, fears, hurt, lack of sleep but I made it threw the week! I got back into Afghanistan a few days ago. Man leave sure was short. It seems that my 18 days sure flew by. The good thing is I am about halfway through with this deployment and I will get back to family, friends, and riding. I managed to ride about 2000 miles while I was home this time. Opening Old Wounds
Well its been about 4 months since me and a friend parted ways. I had thought I had moved on and until i found out somethings I did not know before. And then again it hit me like a ton of bricks. I regret ever opening my mouth and saying things about this friend because now for the first time really i really understand why he was so hurt by my actions. I was hurt no doubt her more than I have hurt i think ever. I said things that I felt were true at the time but because I was so angry and I wasnt thinking rationally, all i could think of at the time was the pain i was feeling. He is not the person that I had painted to many people. He was hurt. He loved that girl with all his heart. And it hurts me that she hurt him as bad as she did. And I left that one place that brought him so much pain. I know why he was mad about that, he had every right to be. All i can say is Im sorry and I hope that time will heal all.

The suspense is killing you I'm sure, but this weekend has been a little wrenching emotionally. My wife and I have decided to open our marriage. It has been a tough few years for me especially. Well, my jump rope finally gave up the ghost and died. I had to purchase a new jump rope, but I don't mind overly, as this new jump rope is simply perfect for my height. I even purchased a new stability ball, but I chose a 65 cm ball rather than the 45 cm ball to make the workouts more challenging. Operation adopt a convalescent home is underway! To explain a little about it..We Chose a state funded convalescent home here in bakersfield ca, we are putting together 111 gifts for its residents and making 111 christmas stockings. Operation Graduation
My oldest son in spite of all the obstacles placed in his path by his mother and some bad choices that he made finally graduated from High school on May 18, 2009. I am proud of him of that. It was not pretty, was not gracefully but he did graduate. Now he is on a new journey, his choices, his hard work and he has limited Excuses. Operation: Discovering Myself
It's been almost a month since he left. These past few weeks really got me thinking about, where I should go and what I should do. I also started thinking about how it all went wrong...
