Well, last week was the annual AVN Exposition and Awards Show in Vegas and it was a kick ass event. Two floors of everything adult oriented you can imagine and more. As you may have read in my last blog, this was a very trying, traumatic and sad week that I had to endure. Two people, one of them a little girl, died in front of me during an accident earlier this week. Truly it was a horrific event, one that has played itself over and over again in my mind, and I had been depressed for the past several days. Well, I went to see the two survivors in the hospital, not knowing how I would be received or how they would be. The mother, who was driving at the time of the accident, was still in a state of shock from losing her niece and youngest daughter. The other daughter, when I was tending to her on Tuesday, could not feel her legs. She was brought in for emergency surgery and I learned that she should make a full recovery with complete use of her legs, so I breathed a sigh of relief that something actually went right on Tuesday. I have been trying to keep a positive outlook on life. Smiling as much as I can, telling everyone that everything is fine, when it isn't.
