Patterson Rig #627
I just finished a fishing job on Paterson Rig #627 for a logging tool. My hats off to all the crews on that rig. 6 days tripping pipe and these guys maintained a great attitude the entire time even though Baker Atlas supplied us with all the WRONG information. These guys attention to detail and dedication to safety is one to be followed by all. It has been a long long time, since I had the pleasure of fishing on a rig where ALL the crews are professional ROUGHNECKS. In todays oilfield, 99.9% of the rigs are crewed up by a lot of worms that think they know something. The new wave roughnecks are out there making em bite, but don't want to learn anything. Time will tell. Check out the pics of the boys on Patterson #627.

Ok, I've never really blogged. Never really needed to. It seems things are changing now. I have this terrible pain in my right knee and hip. I have been to a chiropractor and an orthopedic doctor. I had an xray on the hip and an MRI on the knee - all they could see is "Mild arthritis" - not even anything unusual for my age. The pain comes after being on my feet for just a couple of minutes. It is intense enough that I find myself leaning on anything I can find. Everything else is seemingly fine. I'm at a point where I can't exercise much because it hurts too much. I'm at a total loss. I need to paint and I can barely stand long enough to clean my studio space so I can paint. Fuck. It seems that everything else in my life is going fairly well. The pain ruins it all. I am still having loads of pain in my right hip and knee. The pain of walking is almost as bad as it was before I had the surgery on my other knee in 2000. I can't exercise worth a crap.

Recently I had a small problem with my PC.. it would randomly just power off.. So I investigated the problem. I found the fan on my power supply was not running at all. What fun. This had happened before.. And I managed to make it work then.. So I dived on in. First I had no screw driver.. And compaq loves these little allen key type screws... So I grabbed a pair of scisors and started trying to get the screws for the power supply off.. Well, using the dullest pair of scisors I have, I started trying to get enough pressure.. And ended splitting my thumb open in the process. But of course I didn't notice right away.. So I found a butter knife in the kitchen and found it was working quite well. Soon however I began having trouble getting the tougher ones off.. When I got the power supply out.. I still had to get at the fan IN it.. And these had little star point screws.. I got 4 of the 8 off easily.. and struggled for a LONG time with the other ones.. finally I got it all

I Have REALLY had it with COMCAST!!!. I am ready to go back to dial up. I will be going to church on a regular basis now, and bible study as well. The Pea Farm The Pea Farm is an old, unused prison that lies deep in the woods of South Shreveport. It is covered in vine and debris and it is said that you can hear moans and screams coming from it at night. It is posted and is covered behind the trees and cane. The attack on Pearl Harbor was a preventive attack on the United States Pacific Fleet base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii by the Empire of Japan's Imperial Japanese Navy, on the morning of Sunday, December 7, 1941 that made the United States enter World War II. Pedantic Issues With Movies And Tv
Ok, I have a couple of issues with this movie... *spoilers... as always* Firstly, if this pyramid wakes up once every 100 years and they send their trainee predators down to hunt the aliens, the whole set-up requires the other predators to get there first to convince a bunch of people that they're Gods and that they must sacrifice themselves for the hunt. This way they can create some aliens for the predators to fight. Pretty much everything else is automated, but without some humans waiting in the sacrificial chamber, the game cannot even exist. Now, as luck would have it Lance Henriksson had his team down there and some of them got caught by the face-huggers, but had that not happened the hunters would have turned up to just find a bunch of eggs. At the end of the movie, the sole survivor is left alone on this Antartic island and temperatures well below zero without even a coat, when all the predators fly off on the mother ship. Ok, started like a normal work day, it was Wednesday which is one of the two busy days of the week. i got to work and they had me scheduled to haul which is basically just riding around the warehouse and outside the warehouse on a really fast pallet jack with a blinky light. on top so the truckers outside hopefully wont run you over, and you have to wear a shiny reflective orange vest. And of course it was cold and raining super hard and really windy. So then at about lunch time they tell us that there is one hour of voluntary overtime to those that sign up, so i sign up, but then by second break they just announce that there will be two hours of overtime for all classifications. So i end up working a twelve hour shift doing the easiest job in the warehouse but in really sucky weather. So that kinda sucked but was nice at the same time. The Penguins acquired Atlanta left wing Marian Hossa for forwards Colby Armstrong, Erik Christensen, Angelo Esposito -- the 20th overall pick in the 2007entry draft -- and a first round draft pick. The Penguins also acquired right wing Pascal Dupuis. Canadian sports network TSN reported the deal. Hossa had scored 26 goals and recorded 56 points for the Thrashers.
