Texas Uprising Concert
Damn I had a blast last night. Kevin Fowler's performance was by far the best of the night. He opened by telling everyone that at 6:31 last night his wife gave birth to his new baby girl. I didn't drink till after Kevin Fowler's performance and let me tell you in less than 35 minutes I slammed 5 Crown and sprites. I was feelin' goooooooood when Robert Earl Keen got his ass up on stage. Reckless Kelly was amazing and damn their lead singer is sexy as hell. He has an amazing voice. The Eli Young band was good but was by far on the bottom of the performances for the night. Roger Creager was the opening singer and damn he was great and cute to boot lmao. 2 TBSP real butter 1 c. cornmeal 1 ½ tsp. baking soda 1 c. fresh or frozen (can’t be canned!!!) with 4 oz. heavy cream whisked in ¾ c. 2% or whole milk 1/3 c. olive oil 3 large eggs 1/3 c. grilled/roasted, peeled and chopped, poblano or jalapeno pepper (I prefer poblano but if you like it hotter then I suggest jalapenos, or some mixture of the two. I also always prefer grilled peppers to roasted but either works. The peel should be blackened before removing peppers from heat. To peel, remove peppers from heat immediately to a paper bag and seal up for 10-15 minutes, then dump into ice water and rub the skin right off.) 1 c. grated cheddar cheese, I prefer sharp for this recipe but it’s a personal thing Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. I got a voice mail from my ex wife saying that my sister in law passed away Friday. Talk about being hit hard. She was the the baby of the family and may have lead the hardest life of her of her family. She was under 40. I remember all the hear ache she caused my in laws. For those who have been sticking by me though I have been away for so long, thank you. Your friendship means the world to me. Thank you for not giving up on me. I want you all to know what has been happening. A lot of you have asked me and I felt that it would be easier to tell you here in the blog rather than having to explain it individually each time. I have been going through severe depression and anxiety. I came very close to an emotional and nervous breakdown very recently. The people who actually speak to me on the phone and on here know the details but I choose not to go into them. Let's just say that I do not plan to let ANYONE or ANYTHING get me that down again. There is nothing and no one in this world worth that kind of pain no matter how much you care for them. I have also been physically ill for several weeks. I had the day off yesterday so I went to go check my mail on Myspace, I don't really get on as much as I use to because off work and being so tired so it was nice.. After I finally got on and realized it was the same screen that I have been checking for the past year and looking beside how much trouble I have had in the past with myspace not wanting to work, being so slow, etc.! Apparently, I'm the only person on the CT who doesn't have or DJ for a radio lounge. Every time I see a bulletin, it's someone plugging their station of the day. That's cool, but it's really interfering with everyone else screaming for profile/picture rating! When I started on this site, there was only one station I went to...Evolutionz. The trainig has started.. THis up coming June my daughters father is gonna be doin his first tour in either iraq or afghanistan.. He will be gone for up to 18 months mb longer.. To my family, friends and fans on CherryTap, Happy Thanksgiving late. I'm sorry I didn't get around with holiday wishes for you all, but I was offline, spending time with my real life family. Turned out to be one of the nicest Thanksgivings I've ever had in my life. Along with myself, my fiancee and her two kids, both my kids were there, my daughter with her boyfriend and my son in between legs of a tour. Also present were Catherine and Jason and my Grandson Kaydin. Every got along great and the food was scrumptious. Everyone pitched in to help with cleanup, so it actually ended without the usual huge mess in the kitchen. After dinner we had homemade pumpkin pie and toasted with Mikes Hard Lemonade before a 4 hour Guitar Hero tournament, during which our good friends Anne, Michelle and Ashly made appearances. All in all just a great day. Thanks to everyone there for all your efforts to make it a fantasic holiday! I'll remember this one for a long time!

Ok my mom goes out of town for work and she is goin to be gone for a few days. So her being the "pack rat, dont clean anythin" person, and me being "OCD" i get to started on cleaning the min she leaves. I clean the kitchen, livin room, and dining room. I cleaned for 7-8 hours that day, and bought a mop, and some cleaning stuff, and mop the floors and etc. Well the kitchen is sooooo clean ya can eat off the counters now. The kitchen is the main part of the house where I have to have it spotless. When she is here the kitchen is a nightmare from hell, you dont even wanna cook in it, hell you dont wanna go in it. Anyways, so the kitchen stayed clean for the 1st time in years, thanks to me. I even put up a curtain in there, and if ya ask me, it makes me think of spring when im in there.
