I dont know what my new plan is now. Friday night i started feelin a lil sick. I was thinkin I was comin down with the flu. Body aches, my right ear and jaw hurt. The next day the pain was gone but I had a bit of tingling on the right side of my face. Things tasted a lil funny but i thought that was the flu. Late saturday night i noticed i was losing contol of the right side of my face. So Sunday the entire right side of my face was completely paralyzed. Throat Cancer
I went to the doctor a couple weeks ago because I have not been feeling good and lost my voice. Well doctor first thought I had strep throat again so he ran some tests and didnt like them so I did more tests and found a tumor around the voice box and throat. So last thursday I went in to surgury to have the tumor and tonsils removed. I have to go back in 2 weeks to see if I have to chemo or radiation. I am very sore and tired. Woke up at 3 this morning to loud crashes of thunder and lots of beautiful bolts! Thought about taking some pictures, but damn I was tired and had to get up early today as we were going on a little road trip. We drove 4.5 hours north-east to Show Low, AZ. It was beautiful, all the pine trees and green everywhere. Not to mention the temp. it was 71 degrees at 1pm! It only got up to around 84 by 4pm. We had light scattered showers too. We didn't stay long, and the trip home we got hit HARD by rain....all the way until we hit our city line, then nada! Nothing that is except dust, dust and more dust! So much you couldn't see a cars length in front of you. However when we got out of the van it was so nice outside. The kind of weather you would want to sit outside in. As I sit and type, I just wonder if what I'm doing is right. I'm trying to write short stories, but I feel as if I'm going to be spinning my wheels. I never took a creative writing class, not in high school, not in college. Most of what I did take in college were computer classes. Yes, I was a geek! I can create programs in several computer languages - Pascal, FORTRAN IV, FORTRAN 77, and several BASIC sublanguages. I am really dragging ass right now. Went to bed at 11:30pm last night, and was up at 2:15am for a death call. Here it is 10:00 am still haven't been to bed. Won't get a chance until after 3:00pm today. Had a death call yesterday too. So the next few days are busy. but I am getting ahead of myself. I have pretty much been working 7 days a week. Either my phone job, or something with the funeral home. But I needed to. Well earlier this week I made my last child support payment. So that is one headache out of the way. (still have many more). I noticed that even though I cut back the number of hours I was working the phones per day. I was still getting short with customers. So I came up with a good plan. Work 3 days, and take a day off. That would give me either a total day off, or to do maintance at the funeral home. Hi All! A little birdie told me I was being too quiet and wanted to know if I was staying out of trouble. So I figured I'd shoot out a blog before I go to bed. I wonder who that little birdie is? hehehe Ok, here is the short version...I went to my GP yesterday, and he put me through a range of motion test on both of my shoulders. He came up with strained/possibly torn tendons in both rotator cuffs. As if the back wasn't enough. *eyeroll* So basically, I have no choice but to be good. I can hardly move! LOL I had to do some driving today, and let's just say, you don't realize how much you use your shoulders and arm muscles to steer unless you do something like this. Ugh! At least the left shoulder isn't as bad as the right, and I'm a leftie, so that helps. Here's the freaky thing...I have no idea how I managed to do this. LOL I have to train myself to sleep on my back because I usually sleep on my right side. Not anymore! Ouch! Ok, enough whining for now.
