50th Anniversary
Well Saturday, November 10th we had Mom and Dads 50th Wedding Anniversary party down at my Elks Lodge. Was a ton-o-fun. Mom took a ride with a member on his Harley. Got pics to prove it. when Dad first met Mom all he had was a motorcycle. They rode every where till the first born, then Dad had to buy a car. So my Mom is a real Biker Mom from the 50's. We had a great time at the lodge. We watched a memories DVD dad and my sister made up. We got Mom and 3-tiered Cake. Decorated the Hall with as much 50th Gold Decorations as we could. Everyone showed up and Celebrated. So All the pics will be posted soon and then when I get back from camping I will have more pics to post. Until then Ciao

Thankful For
this was written by my son when he was nine I'm thankful for peace &love in the world. I'm also thankful for people big and small, weak or strong, sick and in health, who can share that love with anyone who they feel really deserves such a powerful virtue. Ialways say "love is giving someone the ability to crush you, but trusting them enough not to". I have a friend named Cassie. She told me that i was like a 1,000,000 year old piece of paper. Basically I was letting everyone get me down, or tear a piece off of me. But, she said "if you laminate your paper, no one can hurt you". Basically she meant, if I toughen up no one can hurt me. Well, in my point ov view, if people just loved then we wouldn't have to laminate our paper. we would,t have to go through the trouble to toughen up if everyone would just love. That is why i am thankful for love.

Thank Goodness For Stupid People
How can you go out and drink yourself stupid, then drive 100MPH with your 6 year old kid in the car? Another one that I just took in to the hospital, that will survive, but is going to need many surgerys to repair his body. Many more years to heal him mentally, and only with professional help. He just happened to be with mom and dad with both intoxicated. Better yet no car seat, or booster seat. Better yet a seat belt. The kid was thrown over 60' from the car after impact with another car and a building.This is the part of the job I HATE. I haven't learned after almost 26 years of doing it. But I know he was getting the best care available at the time. Deep breath, and get ready for the next one. Please be safe. I don't want to meet you that bad. Wow, I don't know where to start. Actually, I do...without a doubt, my first thanks has to go to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If not for his mercy, and forgiveness, I am afraid to think of the state I would be in. I am far form perfect, but He loves me anyway, and continues to forgive my short comings and answer my prayers. Ironically, this is probably going to be the first Thanksgiving I am going to enjoy since I have been back from Iraq. Last Year, was kind of on a down beat note considering I had recently gotten fired by former employer prior to again Ironically 2 days before Veteran's Day(A blessing in its self not having to work with a management made of cowardly and self serving assholes) . There are a lot things to be thankful for : I still have my health. I still can think for myself. I have new job with a good company, making decent money. I have my own place to live. I know that a lot of people are now thinking about what they will eat tomorrow, how many people are coming over and if their football team will win tomorrow. To me, my best friend lost her dad, my other friend cannot work with me because of Degenerative Disc Disease in her back which is getting worse, and Dannie, the guy I live with, ended up at the urgent care doc w/ what they thought to be either a gall stone or pancreatitis (forgive my crappy spelling) which seems to be a bit better now. Hello again my Peaches!! So after the flood, and maintenance putting in a new water heater, we had a HUGE mess to clean up. Then it was back to Thanksgiving cooking. Dinner got delayed by about three hours. Next up... BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING!! Joy. John and I went out to the various stores, and are nearly done with our Christmas shopping list! Among the things bought was a little something for ourselves, because it was on sale. XBOX 360. John bought the game "PREY". I bought "Shivering Isles"- only to find that it's an explansion to Elder Scrolls Oblivion, which I don't have! Doh! How is my Thanksgiving going so far you ask?

Today was not a good day. But I am very thankful today because of what happened. There was a horrific shooting and 8 innocent people were killed. The shooter killed himself. He was just 19 years old. He left 3 notes. A will giving all his personal items to friends and family. A note saying he was going to go out in "STYLE". And a note saying he was finally going to be "FAMOUS". I am thankful that my friend and I decided to go to lunch an hour later. We were only about 2 miles from the mall. We had each individually thought of shopping at the mall after lunch. Her daughter called me after I got home in a panic to see if we made it for lunch. I had friends from out of town call to see if I was ok. And several local friends called also. It is so sad to be thankful for such a reason. I feel sad for his family and the guilt they will carry from now on. I feel sorry for the families of the victims. as most know, i luv my truck almost as much as my new bike... well today i went to my mommy's house, 2 hours away, and right before i got there, i hit a curve too fast... went in the ditch, got out, but then started fish-tailing... the whole time i wuz thinkin my truck is gonna flip... so not kewl... i had princess (my doggy) with me and i think i scared her half to death... sum how i managed to scrape the bed on the passenger side and break off one of my tie-downs... other than that, i hope nuthin else is wrong with her... anywayz, my neck hurts from it, so im gonna go find me sum drugz (legal ones)... hope everyone had a better thanksgiving then i did!

Even though I am in Iraq this thanksgiiving. I have so much to actually be thankful for. As of to date our unit has not actually lost anyone. I am thankful that each and everyone one of you can enjoy thanksgiving. Be glad that you are able to celebrate with family and friends. I would also like to state that make sure you don't make up excuses why you can't do anything because us over here can't do anything at all which means each day is a day gone by that can't be made up. Enjoy everything you can and everyone you can. Be thankful to be around family and friends which we can't. I personally am thankful that we are here so others can have a life back home. The Pregnant Turkey One year at Thanksgiving, my mom went to my sister's house for the traditional feast. Knowing how gullible my sister is, my mom decided to play a trick. She told my sister that she needed something from the store. When my sister left, my mom took the turkey out of the oven, removed the stuffing, stuffed a Cornish hen and inserted it into the turkey. She then stuffed the turkey again. She put the bird(s) back in the oven to cook. When it was time for dinner, my sister pulled the turkey out of the oven and proceeded to remove the stuffing. When her serving spoon hit something, she reached in and pulled out the little bird. With a look of total shock on her face, my mother exclaimed, "Patricia, you've cooked a pregnant bird!" At the reality of this horrifying news, my sister started to cry. It took the family two hours to convince her that turkeys lay eggs! Ode To A Turkey... I'm doing this blog just to get some things off my chest. Last night I was setting here at the computer and on the ticker it went by that wrestling kills. So I went to check this article out, and when I did it pi$$ed me off. Here again people are throwing the blame of a death of a wrestler on the business that I love. They saying that wrestling drives these guys to kill theirselves. I have been wrestling since Aug 4 2001, three to four times a week. The pain is huge that ya put your body through dont get me wrong but not once in almost seven years have I took a handful of pills to get me over what I put my body into. Its my decision to do it and i'm strong enough to handle the pain with out the pain killers. Apparently the guys that are dyeing from these things are not strong enough to make it with out those things. For once cant some wrestler pass away and the blame be put on them and not wrestling being blamed, seeing as its what the guys were doing to there bodies besides wrestling

As some of you know My sons home caught firethis morning...He and his family had left yesterday to go to lousisana to be with his wife's family, so my youngest son stayed at thier house while they went outta town, well at 4;30 this morning, some one came knockin on the door, trying to get Mikey up as the mobile home was on fire. OK so like for serious i have this old friend of mine that used to tell me bout the time he flew into i think it was like minnisober and upon getting off the plane ( this wasn't one of the fancy shmancy city airports with gates and what not but one you stepped right out onto the tarmac) he was mad cause it was so cold. I wanted to thank my Fubomber family and my friends for helping me out so much during this contest. I have been working a lot of split shifts with this new job so I haven't been able to bomb as much as I would like to. You guys have really been there for me and stuck by me and I appreciate it. The transition from being with Nathan for 9 years and then suddenly becoming a single mother has made this a difficult time for me. My kids are adjusting well to life without a father. I guess my friend was right when he said kids are resilient. It seems to have been harder on me than them and I am grateful for that as well. Things are getting so much better and for the first time in a long time I don't have to wake up knowing I am going to be pissed or cry because Nathan has hurt me again. Of course living with my parents is no cake walk but we got a bigger house so we will at least have our own personal space soon. Things are going pretty good right now..knock on wood. To those who I consider friends on here, knew that today was my sister's funeral (or maybe if people read my blogs or mumms they would know as well). I want to thank the FEW (and I can count them on ONE hand) friends who actually hit me up and asked how it went and were genuinely thoughtful to me about it. It was a hard quick time (I didn't stay long due to me having to bring my children with me and I couldn't handle them asking questions about what was going on and trying to deal with it all myself) but it is done and she is somewhat at peace now, at least until her killer is caught, then she will be at total peace. So again, to the few who thought of me today, thank you. I have a serious hangover from drinking my day away though and have to try to rest a lil now. Is there some type of unwritten Fubarian rule that states that it is uncool or unacceptable to place "thanks for the add" in the shoutbox upon recieving a friendship acceptance. After getting hacked and deleted in the moring on 7/31, I had a new account up and running by about 6pm Central. If you look in my folder I have screen shots of some of my levels along with the times. I started on 7/31 at around 7pm and at 11:39 I was already at level 16. I just want to thank all of you for your educational emails over the past year. Thanks to you, I no longer open a public bathroom door without using a paper towel. I can't use the remote in a hotel room because I don't know what the last person was doing while flipping through the adult movie channels. I can't sit down on the hotel bedspread because I can only imagine what has happened on it since it was last washed. I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has been driving because the number one pass-time while driving alone is picking your nose. Thanksgiving Fishing 2008
Well had quite a fishing trip this year. We ended up catching 9 in total but it was the huge pike caught without any bait which was most compelling. We caught a 17 in pickerel and as it was coming to the surface a huge 13 lb pike attacked it leaving it with a 3 in gash. As it kept attacking it finally got to the surface and I was able to net the pike. We also got the pickerel into the boat as well. Very cool...not likely ever have that happen again. Lots of fun..enjoy the pics I posted.

First I would like to say that we shouldnt just limit thanks to this one day but be thankful everyday for everything. I am thankful that I have a job to go to everyday. It might get a little monotonous but it pays the bills. Im thankful for the roof over my and the car that I drive. Im thankful that my kids are healthy and I know they love me unconditionally. Im thankful that my mom is still alive and that I am able to call her anytime. Thankful we have air to breathe and water to drink. Im thankful for friends and family and I dont tell them that enough.
