So I find myself trying to figure out my step in my career and in life. Recently divorced and a long way way from my normal environment I am not sure what to do. My job is not a n easy one, and not easy to find a new one period. So, if i help create another new job opportunity do I take it or stay? So I HAVE to buy a new car now So yeah, I finally got my car fixed. One day at work a sparrow fell out of his nest and I took him home to try and save him. I knew the odds were very unlikely that I would be able to help him. He was almost ready to fly. I took him home and the first thing I did was to get him to drink lots of water. I think I read somewhere that is one of the greatest dangers for a bird is dehydration. I took him to the sink and let little drops of water fall off my finger onto his beak. He didn't know what I was doing at first but he figured it out and started drinking a lot. It seemed to help him. I then took little bits of raw hamburger meat and rolled it up into tiny balls and stuffed it down his throat. He didn't like it at first but once he ate he wanted more. Me and andrea just got back from Par 3 Bistro (very secluded french cuisine restraunt near our appartment), and oh my gods was it the best food ever. I had a rack of lamb with mint jelly sauce, and she had veal cutlets with sweet crab meat on top, covered in a hollandaise sauce. All with pomme frittes, sweet carrots, and diced water chestnuts. Before that, we had an appetiser of mussels poulette, covered in a white wine sauce. Dessert was creppe suzette (sp), and wow. Thats all i can say is wow. I KNOW I have the best online friends and the number of get well comments, messages and gifts just proves that. You guys are amazing. I was so sick with a stomach virus yesterday and couldn't take it any more that I finally checked myself into the hospital yesterday bout 9pm. They did vitals and I was so in distress that my normally perfect blood pressure was sky high and had a slight fever. I got med's and IV and stayed with them till early in the morning. Special Occasion
Today I had the pleasure of preforming the wedding ceremony of a friend. Her second. A much better man who loves her and loves her 10yr old son and even thinks she is fun. She is smiling all the time. Giggling now and then. And doesn't even care if her EX falls off the face of the earth. As long as he doesn't neglect or abuse his son, she can tolerate him. I got to see the look in both their eyes as they said they would love and protect and honor and forgive each other. little Johnny wqas sitting in the small office of the orphanage waiting to see if he was going to get adopted, so many times he had been checked and passed by his heart couldnt take it anymore , he was great kid, 10 years old would be 11 on Christmas day...the only problem was that all the parents were wanting were babies, they didnt want older kids for some reason...he fidgeted around and got up to pace when the door opened..and walked in Ms Holice the nicest peson in the whole orphanage, she really liked johnny becaue he always helped out in the orphanage taking care of the grounds and picking up after the younger kids. A Special Place I walk along a path through thick greenery and discover my special place. This place has not been touched by the hard hands of man. As you walk in, you see a breathtaking waterfall flowing into a crystal pond. The pond is surrounded by a stand of trees, as if they are sentries guarding to keep the horrors that man reaps on the environment from it. There is a huge rock perfect for diving from into the cool crystalline pool or you can lay across the flat top of it to enjoy the sun and beauty. As you look down from the rock you can see the fish swimming by peacefully. Wildflowers grow rampantly over the banks of the pond. The air is crisp and clean filled with the sweet scent of the wildflowers. If you are very quiet you may even get to see a deer or some other animal approach the pond for a drink. The quiet serenity of this place helps me to shake off the worries of my days and brings calmness into my mind. I visit this place several times a day when I sta

Wow!!! I rode in the Stevie Ray Vaughan Remembrance Ride and Concert Sunday 10.5.2008. What an awesome experience. Best $20 spent in a long time. The bands were phenominal.
